StudentAid BC applications for the 2026/27 program year are now available for studies starting between August 1, 2026, and July 31, 2027.
All full-time and part-time students can now apply through the new Student Account and Application System.

How to create a StudentAid BC account and apply for student financial aid
What you need to know
- You must create a Student Account before you can apply for funding
- Create your Student Account and log in using your BC Services Card as your digital ID
- Applications are available for both full-time and part-time students
- You may need supporting documents depending on your circumstances
- Applying early can help ensure your funding is available when your studies begin
Before you apply
Have the following information ready:
- Your Social Insurance Number (SIN)
- Your personal and contact information
- Information about your school and program
- Any supporting documents that may be required for your application
If you are planning to attend post-secondary studies in the 2026/27 program year, now is the time to apply.

You can ask a parent or a trusted person for support with your StudentAid BC application but never share your username, password, or personal information like your Social Insurance Number (SIN) with anyone. Sharing your personal information can put your privacy, financial security, and student loan eligibility at risk.
