StudentAid BC is modernizing its student financial assistance system to serve you better and make it easier for students to apply for funding. As part of our modernization process, all students/borrowers, parents and spouses will need to have a BC Services Card to access our online services via the StudentAid BC Dashboard.
Applications for the 2021/2022 program year are now available for classes starting between August 1, 2021 and July 31, 2022.

StudentAid BC has responded to COVID-19 by providing emergency student financial assistance to support students, borrowers and post-secondary institutions.

Anne Kang, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Training, issued a statement on March 8 regarding preparations for a safe return to on-campus education this fall.
In the coming weeks, the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training will be working with the Provincial Health Officer and experts from across the post-secondary sector to develop Go-Forward guidelines for a safe return to in-person learning this fall.
Applications for the 2019/2020 Program Year for classes starting between August 1, 2019 and July 31, 2020 are now available.
Fulfilling the B.C. Government’s commitment to make post-secondary education more affordable, as of February 19, 2019, the interest rate on B.C. Government-issued student loans has been eliminated. This change benefits all current and future borrowers.
