What is rehabilitation and who do I call to rehabilitate my B.C. student loan?

If a student loan payment is 270 days overdue, the loan will be considered in default. A borrower who has defaulted on the repayment of their B.C. student can bring their student loan back into good standing through the B.C. rehabilitation process.

Who do I call to organize the rehabilitation of my B.C. student loan?

B.C. student loans in default are within the collection responsibility of Revenue Services of British Columbia (RSBC). Collection agents can be reached at 1-866-345-3930 to discuss the process of rehabilitation. When you defaulted on your B.C. student loan, the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC) returned the loan administration function they previously performed to RSBC for collection.
