Up to $280* $200 per month of study for each child under 12 years of age.

*Note: the above Canada Student Grant amount is temporarily increased by 40% from 2019/20 pre-pandemic levels until July 31, 2024.

You may be eligible if you are:

• qualify for a federal student loan
• are enrolled in full-time or part-time studies at a designated post-secondary institution
• are from a low-income family
• have a child under 12 years of age (or 12 years of age or older with a permanent disability) at the beginning of the school year

There is no need to apply for this grant. You will be automatically assessed when you apply for a student loan.
