Learning disability assessment bursary

Back to all programs

This bursary program helps part-time or full-time students with the up-front costs of the learning disabilities assessment.

What is available?

Up to $1,800 is available to eligible students. If you have a learning disability, you need a recent learning disability assessment to determine eligibility for services and/or equipment.

Am I eligible?

You may be eligible if you:

  • qualify for student funding through StudentAid BC
  • are enrolled in full-time or part-time post-secondary level courses at a designated public post-secondary institution in B.C.
  • have been recommended to have a learning disability assessment by a Disability Service Provider at your school

How do I apply?

Contact the disability services office at your public post-secondary institution to complete the Appendix 8 form.

(Sections 1, 2, 3 are required. Section 4 may be required)

Note: By signing the Declaration section, you agree to release the reimbursement back to your institution's learning disability assessment bursary account so that other eligible students can access funds.
