Maintaining Eligibility

This chapter outlines the policy requirements for maintaining eligibility for student financial assistance. Students must attain a satisfactory scholastic standard to be eligible for student financial assistance. Satisfactory scholastic standard is defined as the successful completion of at least 60 percent of a full course load of study (40 percent for students with permanent disabilities) at the post-secondary level, where the student receives credit towards a degree, diploma or certificate from the educational institution. This chapter also describes the policy for withdrawals and interruption of study, as well as the audit and verification process.
