Eligible students are now receiving by mail B.C. Access Grant and other grant cheques from the “Province of British Columbia General Account.”
- If you have received a cheque and are unsure of what the payment is for, please review your Notice of Assessment (NoA) to determine what grant you have received.
- If you have received a cheque and it is still uncashed, please cash it as soon as possible. Cheques expire six months after issuance. If you no longer need this funding, please contact StudentAid BC as soon as possible so the cheque may be cancelled and not included on your 2020 T4A tax slip. If you do not want the payment included in your 2020 T4A you must contact StudentAid BC by December 15, 2020.
- If you have been notified that a grant cheque has been generated and you have not received the cheque a week after the notification, please contact StudentAid BC as soon as possible. To avoid delays or lost cheques, ensure your mailing address is correct. To update your information, go to your Student Dashboard > My Account > Update Profile.
